About these terms
These terms cover using this website and the general basis on which we quote for and carry out work. They sit alongside the written quote or contract for your job — where the two differ, the quote or contract for the work takes precedence.
If you are a consumer, nothing here reduces your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or any other consumer law.

Using this website
- The information here is general, so you can see what we do and how we work. It is not a survey of your roof and not a substitute for us coming out to look.
- Please use the enquiry form for genuine enquiries about work. Do not use it to send spam, abuse or anything unlawful, and do not try to disrupt the site or the form.
- The services we offer, the towns we cover and any prices shown can change, and pages may be updated or removed.
Website disclaimer
We try to keep the information on this site accurate and up to date, but it is general information about our services rather than advice on your particular roof. We cannot promise the site will always be uninterrupted or free of errors, or that every detail is current on the day you read it.
Links to other websites are there for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
Nothing in this disclaimer limits your legal rights, or our liability for anything that cannot lawfully be limited.
Quotes and estimates
- Quotes are free and there is no obligation to go ahead.
- A quote is based on what we can see when we look at the job. If hidden problems turn up — rotten timbers behind a fascia board, a failing roof deck under a flat roof — we will explain what we have found and agree any extra cost with you before doing the work.
- A quote is valid for the period stated on it. After that, material prices and availability may have changed, so ask us to confirm before relying on it.
- To go ahead, a written acceptance is best — an email or message confirming you are happy with the quote is enough.
Access, timing and the work
- We need safe access to the area being worked on, and a sensible working area. If water or power is needed for the job, we will agree that with you beforehand.
- Scaffolding, permits or licences, where required, will be discussed and agreed with you before the work starts.
- Start and finish dates are estimates. Weather, material supply and access can move them, and we will tell you as soon as we know rather than leaving you wondering.
- We work tidily, clear away our rubbish, test gutters and downpipes where relevant, and walk the job through with you at the end.
- Any change to the work is agreed with you first. A message or email confirming the change and any revised cost is enough.
Payment
Payment terms — including any deposit, stage payments and how long you have to pay an invoice — are set out on your written quote or invoice. Unless stated otherwise there, the price covers labour, materials and the removal of our waste.
Cancelling
If you are a consumer and we agree the contract by phone, email or online, you have a 14-day right to cancel from the day it is agreed, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations. If you ask us to start within that period and then cancel, you may be charged for the work already done and materials already bought. There are limited exceptions, such as urgent repairs you have asked us to attend to straight away.
For business customers, cancellation terms are the ones set out on your quote.
Guarantee and putting things right
Materials and workmanship must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. Any guarantee we give — on our workmanship, or a manufacturer's guarantee on materials — is stated on your quote.
If something we have done is not right, tell us and we will put it right. That is separate from, and in addition to, your statutory rights.
Our responsibility
We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. Foreseeable means it is obvious it might happen, or we were told about it when we agreed the work.
We do not limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, for faulty workmanship or materials under your statutory rights, or for anything else the law says cannot be limited. We are not responsible for delays caused by things outside our control, such as severe weather.
Content and photographs
The words and photographs on this website belong to us, or are used with permission. Please do not copy them for commercial use without asking. Project photographs show our own work, and we ask before featuring a customer's property.
Complaints
Talk to Paul first on 07958 348028 — most things are sorted out on the phone. If you would rather put it in writing, email pgasson70@gmail.com or post it to 46 Woodcut, Penenden Heath, Maidstone, Kent, ME14 2EN, and we will reply in writing.
If we cannot reach agreement, we will tell you about any independent route that applies to your job. Our independent dispute route: To be confirmed
Which law applies
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute.
